Qatar's Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah to receive MEED Lifetime Achievement Award

For his outstanding contributions to the development of the projects industry in Qatar, as well as the country's remarkable economic progress, His Excellency Abdullah Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah, President, Administrative Control and Transparency Authority, will be presented with the MEED Lifetime Achievement Award on Monday, 18 February at the Qatar Projects 2013 conference taking place at Grand Hyatt, Doha.

Following the presentation ceremony, His Excellency will take part in a live, on-stage interview about his lifetime work and achievements.

His Excellency is credited with orchestrating Qatar's transformation into a modern and progressive industrial nation will take centre stage at a special ceremony which will feature some of Qatar's most innovative projects - a testament to how successfully the country has explored economic diversification with the help of Al-Attiyah.

"His Excellency Abdulla Bin Hamad Al-Attiyah is the perfect choice for the MEED Lifetime Achievement Award. He is widely known as having engineered Qatar's impressive industrial development that has had a far-reaching impact in its economic progress in the last couple of years.
