Qatar's Ahli Bank to focus on financing infra projects

Salah Jassim Murad, the chief executive of Ahlibank, has said the Qatari lender plans to continue to play a major role in financing the country's infrastructure and other nation building activities, Gulf Times has reported. "We have played a major role in financing Qatar's infrastructure development in the previous years; we will continue to do that," Murad told the daily. The bank has reported a 5.2% year-on-year increase in its net profit for the year ended December 31, 2012 to QR465.16m.
