Qatar's new airport opening postponed

Qatar has decided to postpone the opening of the country's new international airport due to the need to address new safety requirements, the Associated Press has reported. The delay came just hours before the scheduled inaugural flight from Hamad International Airport in Doha. Abdulaziz al-Noaimi, chairman of new airport's steering committee, gave no new timeframe for the airport's opening.
