Qatar's Al Rayyan buys two hotels in Germany

Qatar-based Al Rayyan Tourism Investment Co (Artic), the hospitality subsidiary of Al Faisal Holding Co, has said it has bought the Grand Hyatt Hotel and the Maritim Hotel in Berlin, Germany, the Peninsula has reported. The two properties have expanded the company's portfolio of hotels in operation or under development to 25 properties across the Middle East and North Africa, Europe and North America. The five-star Grand Hyatt Berlin Hotel offers 342 rooms and suites, while the Maritim Hotel Berlin offers 505 rooms and event facilities for up to 5,500 people in 49 rooms.
