- PRESS RELEASE
Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council (QCC), responsible for the development of quality infrastructure and raising awareness on quality in Abu Dhabi, announced its participation at the Tawdheef Recruitment Show, an annual event that connects Emirati job seekers with potential employers across various industries.
QCC, in its first ever outing at Tawdheef, will offer a wide selection of career openings for the right candidates. Through its participation, QCC hopes to encourage local talent to enter into job roles that offer satisfaction and excellent benefits in the long run. New joiners will have the opportunity to develop, learn and understand the quality sector working side by side with professionals in this field. The Council currently enjoys an Emiratization rate of 85 percent.
The talent management team at QCC will interface with job-seekers at its dedicated stand (TXP-2) at the Tawdheef Recruitment Show. The Council seeks to employ graduates in technical and management studies, including electrical, mechanical, electro-mechanical, and chemical engineering as well as quality and project management, physics, mathematics, engineering management and economics.
Suhail Al Falasi, Director of Talent Management Division, QCC, said: "We manage an aspect of government services that promotes innovation and fresh thinking. The roles at QCC are unique in their scope of learning and development, holding substantial career growth potential. In fact our strength lies in the collective contributions of a dedicated workforce, which upholds the principles of quality that forms the foundation of our work."
The Abu Dhabi Quality and Conformity Council was established in 2009 to raise the quality of Abu Dhabi's exports and products traded locally, while protecting the interests of the emirate's consumers and supporting its competitive economy.
This is achieved through enabling regulators to establish and implement product safety, legal metrology and conformity schemes.
QCC also sets guidelines and benchmarks to identify and verify that the products manufactured and traded in the emirate conform to the highest quality standards.
