- PRESS RELEASE
QNB, the largest financial institution in the State of Qatar and the MENA region, has joined forces with Mannai to offer QNB's SME corporate customers their most recent cloud service.
"Cloud computing is a model for enabling convenient and on demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources. Further, these can then be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction before being utilized on a 'Pay as you go' model," Said Mr. Abdulla Mubarak Al-Khalifa, General Manager, QNB Corporate Banking.
As Mannai's sole partner, through this exclusive deal QNB is also offering business support, financial arrangement and support, and banking service to customers.
In addition, this cloud service will act as an easy launch for IT infrastructure and be a platform for services with the latest IT technology. QNB points out that it is through such initiatives and always looking to be ahead of the curve that ensures that QNB is the bank of choice for customers, stakeholders, employees and investors alike.
QNB and Mannai believe that IT infrastructure is not auxiliary but rather a primary business investment for one's business. As such, corporate customers are always keen to have a stable IT infrastructure but without a huge amount of initial investment.
What differentiates QNB's service from others is that the Bank is the market leader for corporate banking service in Qatar and has the highest presence in the country through its prompt service. Meanwhile, for those non QNB customers looking to taking advantage of this offer, interested customers simply need to open a relationship with QNB's SME Business sector and list QNB as the preferred Bank.
Both new and existing customers will benefit from cost saving IT infrastructure as well as overhead cost reduction by minimizing Admin/ IT maintenance teams. For over 20 years, Mannai has been working closely with businesses helping them to keep in step as technology advances.
As part of Mannai's SME Cloud Offerings the company provides SME's with a deeper understanding of cloud computing and ICT. Today, Mannai offers SME customers in Qatar the opportunity to experience enterprise level ICT solutions for just a fraction of the traditional costs.
"Mannai is committed to build a long-lasting and strategic partnership with QNB to ensure total satisfaction and measurable business results for the companies under the SME/Private sector in Qatar," said Mr.Khalid Mannai, Executive Director of Mannai Corporation.
"Cloud computing is now a proven, mainstream alternative for SMEs. Moving to the cloud will save the entrepreneur's money, not just for their cloud security needs, but for many other types of data center workloads. When implemented, the cloud computing economic model can drastically reduce the operations and maintenance cost of IT infrastructures. Cloud deployments delivered greater investment returns with a shorter payback period when compared to the traditional on-premise delivery option," Mr. Mannai added.
The latest QNB campaign is expected to start in mid January ahead of a soft launch in March which will include a signing ceremony and series of public announcements. This will be followed by the full rollout later in the year.
