- Saudi Arabia: Sunday, February 24 - 2013 at 12:10
- PRESS RELEASE
QPM - one of the region's premier project management companies and the first Qatari firm in the field - has announced that it will be exhibiting at the upcoming Cityscape Jeddah event next month as part of the company's overall 2013 strategy to focus on the Saudi Arabian market.
Since its inception in 2009, and following the success of previous editions, Cityscape has become an essential component of the ongoing growth strategy of the Saudi Arabian real estate market.
The 2013 edition of the showcase event aims to provide the region's premier platform for project managers, real estate professionals and organizations to meet, network and discuss development and investment opportunities within Saudi Arabia and elsewhere.
Mr Halim Karam, Chief Strategic Planning and Business Development Officer, and Mr Khalid Al-Hajri, Program Director will be representing QPM at the event to raise awareness of QPM's profile in the KSA market and reinforce the company's commitment to the growing Saudi market on the back of the recently-opened office in Riyadh.
QPM's Chief Executive Officer, Fahad Rashid Al-Kaabi, commented: "Qatar's economy is booming and QPM is involved in numerous projects in its domestic markets and in a number of international markets and, as part of our strategy for 2013, we are looking closely at the opportunities presented in neighbouring Saudi Arabia.
"The fact remains that KSA contains all the parameters underlying a solid growth path, hence it still represents the region's biggest market for development and infrastructural projects. As a result, opportunities for project management are plentiful therein.
"The robust growth of the Saudi market, and QPM's new Riyadh office have been made possible by the ongoing demand and availability of funding for development in KSA, driven by the vision of the Saudi King, His Highness Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud. For all these reasons, QPM's participation in Cityscape Jeddah 2013 is essential.
"The ambitions of this company to become a regional player mean that it needs to operate with a truly international perspective, so while we thrive at home, it is of paramount importance that we look at overseas markets and take advantage of the opportunities represented," added Mr Al-Kaabi.
QPM stands as one of the region's foremost project management companies, and with its internationally trained team and cutting-edge technologies it is setting new standards within the industry. The company is active domestically and throughout the MENA region and provides a centralized platform for the project management of local and international developments. Its current project scope includes a growing spectrum of mega projects underway in numerous countries. These projects include civil infrastructure, residential, hospitality, luxury, commercial, office, and tourism developments.
