Qualco appoints Ziad Abou Chabke as General Manager

Quality Construction Company Qualco, one of the leading construction companies in Lebanon, announced the appointment of Mr. Ziad Abou Chabke as the company's General Manager.

He will take up the post with immediate effect, succeeding Mr. Elie Chidiac, who remains member of the Executive Committee and board member.

Mr. Abou Chabke has been working with Qualco as Head of the Engineering Department since 2009.

He has led and supervised the department's work on the most iconic projects that Qualco has undertaken such as Le Mall- Saida, Abaydieh Hills and LAU Medical School in Byblos.

Through his expertise in the construction industry, Mr. Ziad Abou Chabke is mandated by the board to provide overall supervision of the company's latest projects and growth initiatives in light of the company's steady expansion in Lebanon and the MENA region.

"An engineer with over 18 years experience in the industry, Ziad will bring unique depth of knowledge to his new position, having previously served as Qualco's Chief Engineering Officer. Prior to his work with Qualco, Mr. Abou Chabke undertook several positions in the construction industry since 1994. He held the positions of Financial Controller as well as Senior Planner & Contract Administrator. He also ran his private office for management, design and consultancy.
