  • PRESS RELEASE

Allergies cause time lost from school and leisure activities while adversely affecting the child's school performance, quality of life and overall future.

Identifying and diagnosing allergic symptoms at an early stage is essential. At the upcoming Great Parenting Show, renowned Naturopathic Doctor and Quantum Medicine Expert, Dr. Parviz Rashvand of Synergy Integrated Medical Center would be holding an educative session for parents of young children on "Food Allergies and Sensitivities in children", the event will be held at Dubai Media City Amphitheater on Friday, November 30th, 2012 at 3:00 p.m.

Dr. Rashvand advises parents to learn what triggers their child's allergies and get serious about avoiding and treating them by getting an "Allergy Testing" done which can establish sensitivity to allergen.

Allergy, sensitivity and intolerance testing can be done through various ways such as micro-injections or blood tests, however the most ideal for children is "Quantum Allergy Testing" which undertakes energetic evaluation of compatibility of food and other items in an individual and is done by Quantum Machines. A general Quantum checkup will usually reveal if there is active microbe (viruses, bacteria, fungi, parasites) in the body or major toxicity or weakness in the digestive and the immune system. Since Quantum technologies can measure frequency (the energetic fingerprint) of the person in the beginning, it is easily possible to send an energy impulse of a certain food particle or any other item to the body and check the person's energetic reaction without causing any harm.

"Our bodies can "talk" through its energetic signals, something which can be picked up and translated by specific Quantum analogies, a non-invasive allergy testing tool, to provide valuable information about allergies and sensitivities - with no blood, no pain and no needle. It is a very advanced and reliable technique suitable for children and accurate. It enables many items to be tested and can DESENSITIZE the body to the allergens, something that cannot be offered by the other techniques. Children are often unable to verbally communicate what they are suffering from. Children suffering from behavioral problems have seen considerable improvements as the test unearthed contributing factors, such as food intolerance."

"The energetic evaluation of the body can reveal almost everything. Treatment plan includes recognizing the allergens, elimination, immune and digestive system support, toxin removal, desensitization, recreation of health and balance at all levels - physical, mental, emotional and spiritual," added Dr. Rashvand.

Allergy is a broad term used for any sensitivity or intolerance to any food, liquid or other particles that are otherwise normal to many. A food allergy is a condition where the body's immune system mistakenly identifies a food ingredient as harmful to the body. Thinking that the body is under attack, the immune system triggers an allergic reaction. These reactions can range from mild to severe. Some may be fatal if left untreated (Anaphylaxis). However, being food intolerant such as lactose intolerance is not an allergy. It is a separate condition where the body is not able to digest the food although the symptoms can be similar to a food allergy with less severity.

In children, the most common food allergies occur from cow's milk, hen's eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soybeans and wheat. Seafood such as fish, mussels, crab, prawn, shrimp and squid may also cause allergic reactions. These account for 90% of all food allergies. Although any child can be at risk for food allergies, children are at greater risk if they are younger than age 3 or have a family history of asthma and allergies, a genetic predisposition to allergic disease, or elevated allergen-specific serum immunoglobulin levels.

Symptoms of food allergy: Symptoms are usually rapid and appear almost immediately after eating. In the case of latent allergies, they may happen up to a few days after the contact. These symptoms usually include skin rashes such as urticaria, hives, itchy skin; itchy nose and eyes with runny nose, wheezing, coughing, congestion and difficulty breathing; as well as swelling and itching around the lips, eyelids and mouth. Gastrointestinal symptoms include nausea, abdominal cramps, excessive gas and bloating, vomiting and constipation or diarrhea.

Diagnosis of food allergy: Many food allergy symptoms can be caused by conditions other than allergy and it may take some time to identify the problem food and confirm that you have an allergy. If an allergy seems likely, then the Doctor would refer for allergy testing at a specialist allergy clinic.
