Raber AG expands to Dubai

Raber AG from Lucerne, Switzerland, unveiled its expansion plans to the Gulf Arab region. Raber produces preserves, marmalades and jelly from fruits grown in the region of Central Switzerland all around Lake Lucerne.
Raber AG will exhibit for the first time at this year's 4-day Gulfood in Dubai from Feb. 25 - Feb 28, the world's biggest annual food and hospitality show.
Available for hotels, restaurants, hospitals and nursing homes are small breakfast servings and also big buckets. For retailers and supermarkets suitable is the new jam-assortment "Royale" in 390g glasses at a premium level with 70% fruit and whole pieces of fruit. The high fruit content and the careful preparation, based on an old traditional recipe, give this preserve its excellent, fruity taste. Another specialty are the bake stable jams for bakeries. Raber AG's "Lifestyle 1:1"(100% fruit) diet Jam is also good for people with diabetes.
Josef Feusi, Owner Raber AG said "Our recent participations at international food fairs have shown that there is enormous demand globally for high-quality Swiss fruit jam. Consequently, we decided in 2012 to put the global expansion on top of Raber AG's business strategy."
The company's participation at Gulfood 2013 is a milestone in Raber AG's 125-year history.
"The year 2013 will mark Raber AG's expansion to the Gulf region and to Asia. With our presence at this year's Gulfood we aim to be closer at our customers," said Fredy Mueller, Managing Director Raber AG.
"By participating at the Gulfood 2013, we intend to find distributors, to increase our presence in the Gulf region with the brand Raber," said Heinz Umschlag, Marketing & Export Manager, Raber AG. The firm already exports its high-quality jam to the U. S., Canada, Japan and Korea.
