- PRESS RELEASE
Keen on leveraging its strong presence in the international market, RAK Ceramics - one of the world's largest ceramic tiles and bath ware manufacturing company - announced its consecutive participation at CERSAIE - International Exhibition of Ceramic Tile and Bathroom Furnishings 2012, to be held in Bologna, Italy on September 25 - 29, 2012.
Commenting on this year's participation, Mr. Abdallah Massaad, CEO, RAK Ceramics, said, "We continue to use our participation in CERSAIE to leverage our strong international presence to position ourselves as one of the industry leaders in terms of production and innovation by setting new trends in the market. With each passing year, the exhibition remains a lucrative platform for interaction with potential and existing consumers, while putting us in direct contact with industry peers. Above all else, CERSAIE presents the perfect opportunity to showcase our latest products while providing a venue for us to provide unique insight and overview to features of our comprehensive tile portfolio."
Showing strength in numbers, RAK Ceramics will be participating with three stands this year - a 400 square meters stand for Tiles that also includes Elegance Ceramics range of boutique tiles collections and another 180 square meters stand to show off the company's extensive Bath ware collection along with a separate segment area for Kludi RAK range of luxurious Faucets. The stands designs are being executed by top European stand designer, this ensure RAK Ceramics brand image is further consolidated and reflects its growing global clout in the international market.
"Exhibiting amongst the biggest ceramics and bath ware brands in the world, we are leaving a definite mark by showing off our scope and size. This development is especially significant considering the prevailing global economic slowdown especially in the European market; despite the global economic situation, we are there stronger than ever before," Mr. Abdallah Massaad added.
RAK Ceramics continues to carve a distinct niche for itself with an eclectic range of products to fit varied tastes and requirements. Its appeal at the exhibition is abetted by the fact that much of the company's collection has been engineered in collaboration with European designers to cater to international temperaments. On the Bath ware stand the following products will be on display along with a few others.
Elena is the slick bath ware suite designed for the contemporary European market that has a stylish finish to its wash basins, closets and bidets that come in wall-hung, back-to-wall and close coupled models.
The Opulence reflects the art of personal grooming. Designed to give ample space for toiletries, this can be complemented with elegant His and Her accessories in porcelain with a platinum luster edge decoration. Its functional solutions suit individual needs within a shared space.
The Compact range places hygiene and water efficiency at top priority. With no ledges and rims on the toilets, water is fully projected round to the front of the bowl and covers the entire surface making it fully compliant with Water Regulations Approved Scheme.
RAK Ceramics will also be showcasing its latest range of auxiliary bath ware products such as the designer bath tubs and shower trays that add to the complete bath ware suite collection.
Additionally Kludi RAK's latest innovative water-saving faucets will be displayed at the stand. On the Tiles stand will be highlights from the Gres Porcellanato and Ceramics range. For the former, the following will be on display.
For applications of wood, West Wood provides all the natural look and feel but with more durability than the real thing. The eco-friendly product comes with astonishing wood-like texture and finish, and is available in three (60x120) colour shades.
Influenced by nature, the earthy tones of Borax provide an awe-inspiring contrast to modern interior settings. Motivated by ancient Italian art and architecture, the 25x70 tiles come in 3 colours that can be used in both residential and commercial wall and floor areas.
Inspired by Italian design, Sparko is made with the most advanced in manufacturing technology. The rustic, metallic effect of the tile makes it suitable for a vast range of applications including floors, walls and ceilings. The tiles are easy to clean, hard-wearing and can resist frost and ordinary detergents. It is available in 60x60cm tile size.
Features from the Ceramics range include the following.
The decorative Adalia adds class and sophistication to bathroom wall tiles. Coming in a wide variety of colours and styles, these are available in 25x70cm tile size.
The modern Embosa is an urban tile with an attractive embossed pattern to add movement to the range. Rich colours like beige, brown, grey and white lend to the luxurious feel, and comes in 25x70cm tile size.
Viva tiles mimic magnified textile fabric, with weaving effects that add an eastern essence to bathroom designs. Available in the restful tones of brown, white, grey or in multi-colour, these have raised detail, adding a wonderfully tangible aspect to their appeal, and are available in 25x70cm tile size.
The company is also exhibiting the Elegance Ceramics; the boutique tile collection designed for the luxury urban style. The new chic designs to be launched at CERSAIE include Hard Rock, Aurora and Nature Wood.
As the company endures in adding and updated its range, it is no wonder that RAK Ceramics continues to hold its place as a game-changer in the industry. The exhibition further solidifies this position in Europe and propels the company forward into European markets.
"We continue to make our presence known in leading conferences organised in the field, as we relent in coming into contact with the most influential personalities within the global industry to share insights, innovation and means for improvement" added Massaad.
