Reggio Emilia inspired Ambassador Kindergarten inaugurated in Heart of Dubai

Ambassador Kindergarten has become Dubai's first purpose built Kindergarten to offer affordable Reggio Emilia inspired programme. The state of the art 21st century school campus situated in Mankhool, Dubai was inaugurated by His Excellency Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, Chairman and Director General of Dubai's Knowledge and Human Development Authority 'KHDA', His Excellency Mr. Giovanni Favilli, Consul General of Italy in Dubai and members of the Reggio children organization.

Ambassador Kindergarten, which commenced its educational session in April 2012, has also announced a strategic association with Italy's renowned Reggio Children under which there will be joint collaboration by sharing experiences about Reggio principles across various aspects of the school including curriculum, modes of teaching and learning etc.

As a first step towards this association, Ambassador Kindergarten has organized a series of roundtable discussions and professional development sessions with key executives of Reggio Children who visited Dubai for this special occasion.

These included Ms. Claudia Giudici, President of Preschools and Infant toddler centres of Reggio Emilia and Member Board of Directors Reggio Children and Ms. Amelia Gambetti, Co -Chair, International Network, Reggio Children.

Ambassador Kindergarten that has been established by Ambassador Education is housed in specially designed premises with child safe interiors and amenities that include smart boards and cctv monitoring in every classroom.

Ensuring a robust staff student ratio of 1:8, Ambassador Kindergarten offers internationally experienced professional staff that is committed to give personalized attention to young learners.

Commenting on the launch of Ambassador Kindergarten, His Excellency Dr. Abdulla Al Karam, Chairman and Director General of Dubai's Knowledge & Human Development Authority 'KHDA' said, "Dubai's private education sector supports students from a variety of backgrounds and ages, offering them innovative, world class education. Early childhood education is experiencing great growth in Dubai, and we welcome new schools which can nurture Dubai's youngest learners and provide parents with greater choice."

Speaking on the occasion of the inauguration of Ambassador Kindergarten, Mr. Hukumat Kalwani, Founder and Chairman Ambassador Education said, "At Ambassador Education, we are committed to the pursuit of excellence and leadership in education services. The curriculum in our school is based upon leading pedagogical models from around the world and has been designed with the understanding that every child matters."
