Renovation of Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi commences

Starwood Hotels & Resorts has announced the launch of renovation works of the guest accommodations and public spaces at the Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi, Khaleej Times has reported. The project will include a complete redesign of public spaces and all 277 rooms and suites to reflect the contemporary style of the Le Meridien brand. "Following this extensive renovation, Le Royal Meridien Abu Dhabi will be a flagship hotel for the brand in the Middle East and illustrious of our focused efforts on Le Meridien as we continue to expand its footprint in this important region," said the president and CEO of Starwood Hotels, Frits van Paasschen.
