Rimal Rotana Dubai conducts a fire drill evacuation

Rimal Rotana Dubai has conducted a fire drill evacuation to examine their Emergency Notification System on 25th December at 12:00 noon. The main purpose of this activity was to practice Rimal Rotana evacuation plan in case of fire.
"Accidents are unpredictable and our main mission is to decrease their possibilities by conducting training to our employees on how to face and deal with any sudden accident or fire," commented Govindan Kutty, Director of Engineering of Villa, Rimal and Rihab Rotana.
Mr. Wael Ibrahim, the manager of Rimal Rotana commented: "The main purpose of the fire drill was to reinforce the safety procedures within Rimal Rotana and to ensure that each employee is aware of the evacuation procedures, fire safety including the extinguishers' usage and providing first aid."
In the presence of Dubai Civil Defense authorities and safety auditors, fire evacuation drill was activated where comprising employees and guests actively participated. Once the fire alarm and evacuation message were activated, the Civil Defense, management and rescue teams hurried to drench the fire in the kitchen following the complete procedures as if it was a real fire where all the participants headed immediately to the designated assembly area.
The fire evacuation exercise drill was successful and met the purpose of creating awareness among the employees on what to do before professional help arrives.
