Rotana opens first hotel in Bahrain

UAE-based Rotana Hotels and Resorts has announced the opening of its first property in Bahrain and said it is likely to open a new five-star hotel in the kingdom in 2014. The new BD22m ($58m) Majestic Arjaan by Rotana is located in Busaiteen district on the island of Muharraq and offers 128 suites, comprising studios, one- two- and three-bedroom suites developed as duplexes, taking the company's inventory in the region to more than 12,620 rooms.
