Rouse announces management changes in Middle East and Africa practice

Rouse Company announced that Chad Dowle has been promoted to Country Manager of Rouse's office in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), based in Dubai and will take over management of that practice.
The third partner in the firm's MEA practice, Edward Hardcastle, continues to lead Saudi Arabian association. All three manage a variety of intellectual property work across the MEA region.
Chad has experience in a wide range of intellectual property related work, including portfolio management, acquisitions, IP strategy, dispute resolution and enforcement.
He joined our office in the United Arab Emirates from London, where he was a member of the IP department of one of the world's largest premium drinks manufacturers. Prior to working in London, Chad was a solicitor in the IP and IT group of a law firm in Sydney, Australia.
In addition to taking over responsibility for the UAE practice, Chad will continue to focus on advertising and promotion, trade mark disputes, portfolio management and other general IP strategy matters both in the UAE and elsewhere in the MEA region.
