- PRESS RELEASE
RSA, The Security Division of EMC announced that it will host its first RSA Summit in the Qatar at the Grand Hyatt, Doha on the 18th of March. The Summit will bring together over 100 senior decision makers and IT security professionals from prominent organizations across the nation to share best practices and highlight the latest developments in the cyber security landscape in the region.
The pervasive use of the Internet for everything from online banking to social networking together with the emergence of mobility practices across Saudi Arabia has resulted in enterprise networks and sensitive data becoming vulnerable to a new breed of cyber criminals and 'hacktivists'.
A spate of prominent security breaches in recent years has alerted enterprises in the country to the very real threat of security breaches and establishing comprehensive security across the length and breadth of the organization's network is fast climbing the CIO agenda.
To counter these challenges, RSA experts will introduce the audience to recently released RSA Security Analytics - a transformational security monitoring and investigative solution designed to help organizations defend their digital assets against today's most sophisticated internal and external threats. In addition, the summit will see experts from RSA address other comprehensive security technologies and highlight the need for intelligent, proactive security practices.
As part of the RSA Summit, a series of nine break-out sessions within three class tracks covered various topics, including online financial fraud mitigation, incident response and breach readiness in addition to data protection, risk and security management.
The event will also discuss how organizations can effectively meet governance, risk and compliance requires through technologies that offer comprehensive visibility into the enterprise infrastructure and business context of strategically critical systems
