At a meeting held on November 25, 2008, the Board of the Sabic affiliate Safco recommended distribution of dividends equivalent to SR7 per share for the second half of 2008.

Mohamed Al-Mady, SABIC Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, and SAFCO Chairman and Managing Director announced that the Saudi Arabian Fertilizers Co. (SAFCO) reports net profits of SR3.744bn during the first nine months of 2008, compared with SR1.466bn in the same period in 2007, an increase of 155%.

SABIC affiliates Safco and Hadeed to set up a flat steel products facility in Jubail

SABIC affiliates, Safco and Hadeed have signed an agreement to construct a 50:50 owned facility in Jubail Industrial City for the production of flat steel products with an annual capacity of 1.7 million metric tons.

SABIC Vice Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, SAFCO Chairman and Managing Director, Mohamed Al-Mady said the Saudi Arabian Fertilizers Co. (SAFCO) reported net profits of SAR1.466bn during the first nine months of 2007, compared to SAR836.8m in the same period in 2006, an increase of 75%.
