Consumer spending at parks and attractions in the Middle East set to quadruple to over Dhs730m between 2009 and 2011

The amusement parks and attractions sector in the Middle East is in the midst of a strong growth phase with guest spending at parks and attractions in the Middle East set to increase sharply from Dhs183.5m in 2009 to Dhs734m in 2011, said Charlie Bray, President & CEO, International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA).

DWTC projects set to add 10,000 hotel rooms by 2015

Dubai World Trade Centre's (DWTC) two major commercial destination projects - Dubai Exhibition City and Dubai Trade Centre District - will add over 10,000 hotel rooms to the UAE's overall capacity when all phases of development are completed by 2015.
