New Food and Beverages Director joins Grand Heritage Doha Hotel and Spa

With an illustrious career record spanning over 10 years and a number of prestigious 5-star hotels and resorts in Switzerland, the Grenadines, the UAE and the US, Mazumder has worked in various professional capacities.

Some of these include successfully organizing carnivals, banquets, planning F&B arrangements, & training sessions, managing restaurants, bars and F&B outlets of the different hotels such as Former Intercontinental Al Ain Resort (Al Ain), The Club (Abu Dhabi), Raffles L'Ermitage Beverly Hills (California), Raffles Resort Canouan Island (The Grenadines), Restaurant Caux Palace (Switzerland) and Movenpick Fusterie (Geneva).

Apart from excellent leadership skills, Mazumder, a British Indian, is fluent in English and French and is familiar with web design software. His diverse cultural and educational backgrounds are major influences on his interaction with people with different sensibilities and worldviews, which are essential and useful skills within the hospitality industry. Under his leadership, many hotels he has been affiliated with have won 'Best Hotel' and 'Best Restaurant' awards for the creative implementation of their services. Raffles l'Ermitage in Beverly Hills won the best Hotel Bar in Los Angeles in 2005 and "Restaurant Jaan" was awarded AAA four diamonds the same year.

He holds a Higher three-year diploma in Hospitality and Tourism Management from the Swiss Hotel Management School in Caux, Montreux Switzerland along with a certificate in Food & Hygiene from UK health authority.
