  • PRESS RELEASE

Sachtler, part of Vitec Videocom, a Vitec Group company, is beginning the 2013 trade fair year at BVE in London and Cabsat in Dubai (booth D8-20). Making a live appearance will be the award-winning super lightweight Ace L carbon fiber tripod systems that were launched in the fall.

With a payload range of 0 to 6 kg (0 to 13.2 lbs), the new 75mm Ace L fluid head is not only perfect for video-enabled DSLR cameras and lightweight HDV camcorders but also for heavier set-ups with additional camera accessories.

The fluid head with the patented SA drag damping system is available in three different system configurations. Two come with extremely lightweight carbon fiber tripods - one with a mid-level spreader and the other with a ground spreader. The third version features the TT 75/2 CF telescopic tripod.

New Tripods for FSB Fluid Heads: ENG 75/2 D HD and TT 75/2 CF

In addition, Sachtler will also showcase the new ENG 75/2 D HD tripod. It is ideal for high payloads of up to 35 kg (77 lbs) and, for this reason, scores points with its high stability. The tried-and-tested fast-action clamping system from the 100mm range is now available in the 75mm range. It will also be available as a package with the FSB 6 and FSB 8 fluid heads. Likewise, the TT 75/2 CF telescopic tripod is available in combination with FSB 6 and 8. With a hands-on experience at the booth, visitors can see the diverse height range and the comfortable handling of this tripod.

Legendary Sachtler Classics: Video 18 and Video 20

The Video 18 S1 and Video 20 S1 fluid heads equipped with Sachtler Speedbalance technology are standard in the ENG/EFP industry, as they are robust and offer absolute dependability and reproducible settings. A fast set-up guarantees the equipment is ready to go. Both 100mm heads provide a 16-step counterbalance, which enables particularly fine settings, as well as a Boost Button for the convenient adaption of the payload range.

Heads Up Steadi Operators: artemis Camera Stabilizer Systems

For every application, artemis developer and steadi operator Curt O. Schaller has the right Sachtler equipment whether is the artemis Cine HD Pro, EFP HD or DV Pro. Trade fair visitors can see a live demonstration of the practical and unique artemis features such as HiCap wiring and Hot Swap technology that provides an uninterrupted power supply when changing batteries.
