SAIF Zone launches first SEA 2013

Under the slogan 'Your Commitment Deserves Recognition', Sharjah Airport International Free Zone Authority announced the launch of the first edition of excellence award (SEA).
Commenting on this, H.E. Dr. Eng. Rashid Alleem, SAIF Zone's Director General, confirmed that the launch of SEA awards reflects SAIF Zone's recognition of the efforts of companies and organizations in the Zone, their number of which exceeded 5,500 engaged in various trading, industrial and service activities and committing themselves to the highest professional standards under SAIF Zone umbrella.
"Through launching SEA awards, we seek to enhance the partnership between SAIF Zone administration and its investors, as our aim goes beyond being a simple regulatory authority that issues licenses and secure business places," Alleem added.
"We, rather, look forward to creating an integrated business community and our role lies in enhancing competition among the members of this community to provide best products," he added.
As for the details of the award, Alleem said that SEA awards are open for individuals and organizational nominations and that they are divided into five categories:
1. SEA Businessman.
2. SEA Businesswoman.
3. SEA GO Green.
4. SEA Big 3.
5. SEA Emirati Award.
Alleem fixed the 10th of this February as the opening date for nominations to SEA awards. Nominations shall be accepted until the 10th of next March. Winners shall be announced in an event organized by SAIF Zone.
SAIF Zone invited all the investors to take part in the award asserting that SEA is an opportunity for all to show their excellence in business styles and a strong motivation to develop these styles according to global quality standards, especially as these standards has become the core hallmark of competition in different sectors.
SAIF Zone has designed a dedicated logo for SEA and it will be approved in the first and following editions of the award in the next years.
