Salalah Rotana Resort set to open in December

Oman's tourism ministry, Orascom Hotels and Developments and Rotana Hotels have announced that a new five-star Rotana Resort is soon to join the growing list of premium hospitality destinations in Salalah. Owned by Orascom Hotels and Developments, the resort offers 399 rooms and suites, and 45 villas that are built around ponds, water features and manmade lakes. Scheduled for opening in December 2013, Salalah Rotana Resort features a lobby cafe, all-day dining facility, a specialty restaurant, beach restaurant, pool, meeting rooms, a business centre, fitness centre, a huge outdoor pool, massage services, Zen the spa at Rotana, a beach club, and a kids' club.
