Samsung files injunction against LG over technology leaks

Samsung Mobile Display Co, an affiliate of South Korea's Samsung has filed an injunction against LG, its main rival in the television and display technology sector, over technology leaks, Yonhap has reported. The company submitted documents to the Seoul Central District Court against LG Display, about 18 "confidential technologies" for OLED screens and 21 other relevant details. The tech giant is seeking compensation of one billion won ($880,500) where each leak was passed on to a third party or where LG used the technologies, the news service said, citing sources familiar with the matter.
