Samsung Gulf Electronics Co., Ltd, announced that it is leading in the Refrigerator category in the UAE organized market.
Samsung's success in the refrigerator category is due to its continued focus on delivering products that meet consumer's needs. In 2012, the company conducted an in-depth market research into consumer buying trends and unveiled two flagship fridges, the multi-compartment MT12 (Model # RT5982ATBSL) and the large capacity french-door AW3 (Model # RFG28MESL). The fridges come with the Samsung's Space Max technology that guarantees extra space inside, while maintaining the same space from the outside. The fridges also keep food fresh by adjusting the temperatures in different compartments.
"2012 was a year of successes for Samsung's Home Appliance division as we grew to our number one position in the refrigerator category. We will continue our focus in launching home appliances that make a difference in our consumers lives, and I am confident that this will fuel our growth this year as well," said Robin Kadyan, General Manager of Home Appliances, Samsung Gulf Electronics.
In its eighth year, Samsung ranked highest in customer satisfaction with refrigerators in the annual J.D Power and Associates 2012 Kitchen and Laundry Appliance Studies SM, a position it held from 2005 to 2010.
"Customers want more from their appliances, and at Samsung we work hard to offer our consumers the products they want - innovative yet functional, energy efficient and durable and at the same time products that maximize value," added Mr. Kadyan.
Samsung's Flagship models, the MT12 and AW3, come with the Digital Inverter Compressor Technology, which provides the highest energy efficiency, saving up to 20 percent more energy than conventional compressors, as well as a 10-year warranty on the Compressor guaranteeing durability and optimal performance.
