The Sanad and Oun voluntary group offer their services in various fields

Sanad and Oun, a support program formed by a voluntary group in the Al Wathba School, helped provide the community with various services in and outside its school campus.
Ms Fatma Saeed Al-Wahshi, Social Worker at the Al-Wathba School and Head of the Sanad & Oun Voluntary Program explained that the program was launched since 2010 through an awareness campaign.
The initiative is meant to encourage voluntary work among school community's, integrate volunteers from outside the school community, enhance links between individuals and community institutions, as well as exploit capabilities and improve skills of individuals in various voluntary services.
The program especially proved efficient during the Ajyal Al Elm ceremony organized by ADEC to commemorate UAE's 41st National Day that was held at the Al-Fursan International Sports Resort; during the ESRI Conference held in ADNEC as well as in the honoring ceremony for scholarship students.
The Sanad & Oun Program was granted the "Sharjah Award for Voluntary Work 2011-2012" for its contribution in diverse activities such as the Abu Dhabi Center for Autism open day, the Cervical Cancer Campaign organized by the Women's Association, the International Children's day seminar held by the Social Support Center and finally the Ministry of Interior Village held at the Airport Park.
