Sanctions helped turn Iran into oil products exporter - minister

Iran's oil minister Rostam Qasemi has said the sanctions imposed on his country by the West have helped turn Iran into a producer of oil industry equipment, Shana has reported. "Before imposing sanctions many foreign oil companies were present in Iranian oil industry and we spent part of our revenue on importing equipment, but today Islamic Republic of Iran has turned into an exporter of oil industry equipment," Qasemi told reporters on the sidelines of the Fifth International Opec Seminar in Vienna.
