Saudi ad market represents 29% of region's market

The Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JCCI) has said the Saudi advertising market is estimated at nearly SR1.5bn and accounts for 29% of the total GCC market, Arab News has reported. Electronic advertising market currently represents 12% of the total, or SR150m, said Faras Adel Al-Maddah, chairman of the Advertising Committee at JCCI. "Electronic advertising rose in the kingdom 14 times during the last five years from SR11m in 2008 to SR150m in 2012," he said.
