Saudi AlJomaih Automotive Company chooses Oracle Engineered Systems to enhance performance and support growth

As part of a phased out plan to operate a complete stack from Oracle hardware and software, Saudi-based AlJomaih Automotive, part of the AlJomaih Group, and dealer for GM cars in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East, has selected Oracle Exalogic to work optimally together with the existing Oracle Exadata X2-2 and Oracle Business Intelligence (R12) to maximise performance, increase customer satisfaction and support the Automotive's portfolio growth.
The company decided to upgrade its ERP environment in terms of hardware and software, especially for their database and chose the Oracle Exalogic solutions as the best for its performance and scalability issues.
The combination of Exalogic ,Exadata X2-2 and Business Intelligence 'R12' will provide a total solution with a complete optimized package of software, servers and storage that has the ability to run the largest and most important database applications, including Online Transaction Processing 'OLTP', Data Warehousing 'DW' and consolidation of mixed workloads.
"This ultimate complete new system from Oracle will enhance optimal performance as well as ability to migrate to it, with incredibly faster operations and reports," said Nezar Shehabuddeen, Senior Oracle Application ERP Consultant/PJM AL Jomaih Automotive Co.
