Saudi Arabia to cut working hours for women in private sector

The Saudi labour ministry has announced plans to reduce work hours for female staff in the private sector, Saudi Gazette has reported. The decision aims to create more job opportunities for Saudi women, after a recent study conducted by the ministry showed the unemployment rate among women to be 36%, compared with only 6.1% among men, the ministry said.
