The Saudi embassy in Beirut has denied a report in a local newspaper that Riyadh had temporarily halted issuing visas to nationals from Lebanon, The Daily Star has reported. "The office [Saudi Embassy in Lebanon] would like to point out that this news is false," said the Saudi mission in the Lebanese capital. "The consular department at the [Saudi] Embassy is keeping up its regular work and granting visas to the Lebanese brothers according to the mechanisms adopted without any change," it added.
