Saudi Arabia to develop Midyan gas field soon

Saudi oil minister Ali Naimi has said the kingdom is set to develop its Midyan natural gas field in the Red Sea in 2013, Saudi Gazette has reported. "The region is on the threshold of great fortunes and is giving glad tidings to citizens in all regions of the kingdom about its reserves of petroleum, gas and mineral resources. The first production of gas in the region will begin from Madyan field in 2013," Al-Naimi said.
