Saudi Arabia to set up six cardiology, tumour centres

The Saudi health ministry has unveiled plans to build six new specialised centres to deal with tumours and cardiac diseases in the kingdom within its new budget for this year, Arab News has reported. The ministry would build three specialised centres for the treatment of tumours in Al-Ahsa, Hail and Jazan regions, said Mohammed Khosheim, deputy health minister for planning and development. With the new addition, the ministry would have 12 such centres throughout the kingdom, he added.
