Saudi Arabia shuts down 19 clinics in Riyadh

The Saudi health ministry has shut down 19 private health facilities in and around the capital, Riyadh, Arab News has reported. The facilities were closed down for different violations including working without licences or functioning on expired licences, lack of trained medical staff, facilities and equipment. The facilities included eight polyclinics, four medical centres, one optical clinic, three skin care units inside hospitals and three clinics run by one doctor without nursing staff, the ministry said.
