Saudi Arabia studying SR800m pedestrian tunnel project in Makkah

The Saudi municipal and rural affairs ministry and the Commission for the Development of Makkah are considering building a SR800m, 4km pedestrians tunnel, stretching from the northern part of Jamarat Bridge in Mina to the northern courtyards of the Grand Mosque, Arab News has reported. If launched, it will take about 24 months to complete, the ministry said.
