Saudi Arabia's Southern Province Cement Co. suffers further delay in Jazan, share ends flat

The Tadawul All-Share Index declined 0.61% to 7,105.52 as global market took a dip after last week's rally. Market breadth reversed its trend and ended deeply in the red as 32 shares advanced, while 108 securities declined. Sabic fell 0.80% to SR93.50. Shares of Southern Province Cement Co. closed even at SR101.25. Earlier in the day, the company said that further to its announcement on April 29 2009, regarding the delay of the operation of the third mill in Jazan plant, there will be a delay of the project for further (4) months for reasons beyond its control, as the manufacturing company (Germany's Christian Pfeiffer) has delayed the approval of the civil drawings and the shipment of the mill equipment.
