Saudi cabinet places schools health units under health ministry

The Saudi cabinet has decided to move health units of schools from the jurisdiction of the education ministry to that of health, including 5,000 doctors, nurses and administrators, Arab News has reported. The decision restricted certain tasks to the education ministry in this field including physical and health education, fitness and health promotion, environmental sanitation, nutrition, occupational health of workers, presenting first aid and psychological health.
