KSA to continue oil exploration despite shale revolution
- Saudi Arabia: Tuesday, January 29 - 2013 at 05:31
Saudi Arabia's deputy oil minister prince Abdul-Aziz bin Salman has said the kingdom will continue to explore for oil and gas, despite the transformation in the global energy industry caused by rising output of shale oil in North America, Zawya Dow Jones has reported. "We will continue to explore, we will continue to invest," prince Abdul-Aziz said, in response to a question about the impact of rising output of US shale oil. "Saudi Arabia has something that no other country in the world has, and that is excess capacity," he added.
