Saudi National Water awarded Kingdom Tower supply deal

Saudi Arabia's National Water Co has signed a SR2.2bn ($587m) supply agreement with Jeddah Economic Co for the Kingdom tower project in the Red Sea port of Jeddah, Bloomberg has reported. The 25-year agreement involves the supply of 156,000 cubic metres of treated and drinking water a day, enough for 62 Olympic-size pools. Jeddah Economic Co is developing the Kingdom Holding project, which includes building a 1km-high skyscraper in Jeddah.
