Saudi non-oil exports in March down 5.9%

The Saudi Central Department of Statistics and Information has said the kingdom's non-oil exports fell 5.9% to SR17bn ($4.6bn) in March, pushed down by a drop in petrochemicals exports, Wam has reported. Petrochemicals, plastics and rubber were the top export categories, representing 64% of total exports. The UAE was the top recipient of Saudi non-oil exports in March, with 14% of the total, followed by China at 10.8%, and Singapore at 6.3%, the report said.
