Saudi transport minister awards road contracts worth SR4.4bn

Saudi transport minister, Jabarah Al-Suraisiry has awarded contracts to a number of local contracting companies worth more than SR4.4bn for new road projects in different parts of the kingdom, Saudi Gazette has reported. The deals include 41 contracts worth a total of SR1.8bn for construction of new roads and 78 contracts worth SR2.6bn for maintenance of existing roads.
