More Saudi women employed in private sector

According to data by Saudi Arabia's General Organisation for Social Insurance (GOSI), the number of Saudi women employed in the private sector has more than doubled to 160,000 from 70,000, Arab News has reported. The increase is the result of government efforts to ensure that women find jobs that allow them to participate in the economic life of the nation and in accordance with local customs and traditions, the report said.
