  • United Arab Emirates: Thursday, February 21 - 2013 at 13:14
  • PRESS RELEASE

Sue Anderson Consultants (SAC), Education Consultants and UK boarding school specialists along with school heads from 27 UK Boarding Schools from all over the UK will be hosting the annual UK Boarding School Exhibition from Friday 22 Until Sunday 24 February 2013 at the Hilton Dubai Jumeirah, Almas Ballroom from 2 to 7 pm.

Education specialists, head masters and senior school staff will meet with families who are seeking an education in the United Kingdom.

The schools represented are from a wide geographical area across the United Kingdom from Strathallan School in Scotland, Haberdasher's Monmouth Schools in Wales to St Edmund's in the South East and Taunton School in the South West.

Schools close to London are always popular, in particular Lord Wandsworth College, Frensham Heights School and Eastbourne College.

The Mitchell family, during their visit to the Exhibition last year, commented, "I'd like to say that we found the exhibition extremely helpful. Having no experience of boarding school, it gave us a very informative insight into how they function. The alternative for us would have been endless internet searches and probably visits to the UK. The idea of boarding school has made my daughter very excited; it'll be a matter of deciding which one rather than 'if'."

The exhibition, now in its 8th consecutive year, enables families living in the Gulf region to meet Heads and Representatives of 27 UK boarding schools and talk to Education Consultants for advice and guidance. Many of the families visiting the Exhibition will be looking to place their children, aged between 7 and 19 years, in boarding school for the start of the new academic year in September 2013.

"Over the years we have met with many families who are considering boarding schools in the UK. In some instances, we meet the child, interview them and offer them a place at the School which saves the family from travelling and disrupting the child's schooling. All other logistical matters are completed by correspondence," added an Exhibiting School.

Boarding Schools offer a supportive and structured environment with excellent pastoral care, a wide range of subjects with the option of A Level or IB in the Sixth Form. Schools are located in stunning settings across the United Kingdom and offer excellent facilities for sport, music, drama, art and languages in small classes.

Families consider the option of UK boarding for stability of education, the best route to a UK university and Excellent learning support for children with Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, ADHD etc.
