  • Saudi Arabia: Tuesday, April 02 - 2013 at 08:21

The Saudi water and electricity ministry has announced new buildings in the Western region without thermal insulation would not receive power starting from the third quarter of 2013, Arab News has reported. "Electricity connections will not be given to new buildings licensed after this date except after making sure they applied thermal insulation," the ministry said. According to the decision, Saudi Electricity Co's technicians will inspect new buildings under construction to make sure they follow the regulation.
