SEIB Insurance and Reinsurance Company participates in MEED Qatar Projects

On the first day of the conference Mr. Farid Chedid, SEIB's Chief Executive Officer, took part in a discussion on "The integrated role of banks and insurers in project financing risk", during the contractor finance panel session. While at breakfast on February 19, SEIB gave a presentation on the subject, "Delay in Project Start-Up: Risk and Mitigation".

"The MEED Qatar Project surely served as an excellent venue to showcase strengths and strategic advantages to support the unprecedented infrastructure work that is being carried out across Qatar," explained Farid Chedid.

"The gradual roll-out of the ambitious infrastructure development program related to Qatar's hosting of the World Cup in 2022 and the Qatar National Vision 2030 is a key factor that is driving market growth. For SEIB, it was an opportunity to share our knowledge with the participants."
