Senaat promotes its responsible industrial growth at WFES 2013

Senaat General Holding Corporation is participating at the World Future Energy Summit (WFES) which will take place at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre between 15 - 17 January, 2013. Participating subsidiaries include, Emirates Steel, National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC), Arkan, Ducab, Al Khazna and DAMCO.
Senaat along with the subsidiaries under its umbrella abides to strict policies and effective measures to preserve the environment and reduce emissions from manufacturing during production processes.
In its second year at the event, Senaat also aims to highlight its role in sustainable development in Abu Dhabi's industrial sector as well as its efficient use of energy and clean technology. Located at the Government sector in Hall 5, its 144 sqm stand is designed to reflect its new identity which was launched in October 2012 highlighting the company's evolution.
On this Occasion, Eng. Suhail Al Ameri, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Senaat, said, "We are pleased to take part in this world's foremost annual meeting that allow us to network with our international peers. This opportunity is a solid platform for us to highlight our active management of investment portfolio and Private Public Partnerships (PPP) which has been demonstrated successfully across the group."
Eng. Al Ameri also noted the that Senaat is eager to maintain environmental safety when implementing any projects or expand on the production lines in any of the companies, he said, "We are very keen in preserving the environment and work with our partners to reduce environmental pollution."
Eng. Al Ameri said, "The Group has developed special techniques in order to reduce energy needs of rolling process and recover heat emissions of electric arc furnace used for the production of steam and electric energy as well as industrial water."
Using the world's largest gathering in the renewable energy sector and complementing Abu Dhabi's Sustainability week, Senaat will be highlighting its efforts in human capital development and its commitment to community sustainability by taking part in the Green Jobs initiative where, two of its key subsidiaries Emirates Steel and the National Petroleum Construction Company will showcase their job opportunities as well as conduct Workshops for students visiting the World Future Energy Summit.
