All set for 5th edition of 'Eid in Dubai - Eid Al Adha 2012' celebrations

Dubai, the city of great events and festivals, is all set for the launch of the 5th edition of 'Eid in Dubai' tomorrow. 'Eid in Dubai - Eid Al Adha 2012', which is organized by Dubai Events and Promotions Establishment (DEPE), an agency of the Department of Economic Development, is a family-based social extravaganza that is held every year in the emirate to celebrate the Eid festival enjoyed by over a billion Muslims around the world.
'Eid in Dubai' has been extended from the usual four days of festivities to more than 16 days following a directive of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai to help provide the ultimate unforgettable holiday experience for thousands of families and children, who are expected to be in Dubai during this year's 'Eid Al Adha' celebrations. His Highness, Sheikh Mohammed has also given his blessings to an innovative initiative called 'Dubai 24 Hours' a non-stop shopping experience for families who visit selected malls during the 'Eid in Dubai' celebrations.
'Eid in Dubai - Eid Al Adha 2012' is ample testimony to the continued cooperation and support extended to government-driven initiatives by the private sector, that has been the hallmark behind the success of brand Dubai. DEPE Events and Festivals' strategic partners for the year 2012 have hailed the new developments in this year's Eid Al Adha celebrations based on the new directives of His Highness, Sheikh Mohammed.
