Seven blocks to be awarded in Oman in 2013

Oman's oil and gas ministry is evaluating and inviting exploration bids for seven onshore and offshore blocks this year, Muscat Daily has reported. The submission date for bids is scheduled to close in April 2013, said Dr Saleh al Anboori, director general of petroleum investments at the ministry. "We are evaluating and receiving bids for seven blocks. We have four onshore blocks and three offshore oil blocks to be awarded this year," said al Anboori.
