Seventh annual Insurex Awards 2012 return to Dubai

The event forms part of the annual Insurex Conference, now in its ninth year, which attracts senior level decision makers and practitioners from across the insurance industry for a series of Keynote speeches, roundtable discussions and interactive panel sessions discussing the key trends and patterns witnessed in the region.

Shortlisted organisations will be competing for awards across 17 different categories, including Life Insurer of the Year, Advertising Campaign of the Year, Commercial Lines Broker of the Year, Reinsurer of the Year and General Insurer of the Year.

Each year an Achievement Award of the Year is presented to an individual who has made an outstanding contribution to the success of the insurance industry.

Winners from previous years include Abu Dhabi National Insurance Company (ADNIC), who won the esteemed 2011 award for Achievement of the Year; Royal and Sun Alliance Insurance Company; National Health Insurance Company; AXA Insurance Gulf and NEXUS Insurance Brokers.

Nominations were open to all registered companies within the GCC, Jordan, Egypt, Lebanon, Yemen and Syria. 17 categories recognize success across a wide spectrum of criteria including internal training, initiative, corporate social responsibility, e-business, public awareness, risk management and medical insurance.
