- PRESS RELEASE
Located in the Dar al Salaam Mall, the UAE-based chain, Shakespeare and Co. has now opened its doors to welcome diners for the New Year. The area of Abu Hammour, home to both locals and expatriates, is within a 30 minute drive of Doha City Centre. The quickly developing area is receptive to restaurant concepts that will meet the growing demand of the residents and visitors alike.
Shakespeare and Co.'s success in the Gulf region stems from over 10 years of development in the Middle East, adjusting to the tastes and preferences of its diverse audience.
As in other Gulf countries, this location will be providing the full menu, including all-day breakfast favorites, in its distinctive Victorian ambiance.
The restaurant will also be retailing its exclusive line of Shakespeare and Co. chocolates.
"At Shakespeare, we break modern perceptions of restaurants and focus on a traditional, hearty menu with exceptional service, which we believe will be valued by the increasingly discerning Qatari market," said General Manager of Qatar, Mohamed Ali Alkassar.
The UAE and Qatari management teams foresee the opening of additional future restaurants in Doha, based on the projected success of this first outlet.
